My name is Mrs. Ann Potter.  I am a recently retired elementary school teacher, having taught
in Illinois for over 26 years!  I've taught at Center Hill School, Horizon School, Prairieview
School, and Otter Creek School full-time, as well as part-time teaching stints and substituting
at many more schools in Quincy, Payson, Moline, Thomson, Hanover Park, Streamwood,
Bartlett, Elgin and South Elgin.  I am now enjoying my early retirement by becoming a first
time Grandma to Megan, getting my house (and my husband) organized, trying my hand at
some writing and painting, and setting up a tutoring business in my home.
I plan to use this website in several ways.  I plan to:
showcase my 26 years of class pictures
support my tutoring families (and recruit
tutoring new families, too!)
a blog with philosophical musings,
advice, and reminiscing from Mrs. Potter
